Ordeal Sash

Congratulations! You have been elected by your fellow Scouts as a candidate for membership in the Order of the Arrow. Your fellow Scouts must think highly of you. They have chosen you to be inducted into Scouting’s National Honor Society. It is truly an honor to be chosen for membership in the Order.

You are about to embark on an incredible journey. The ordeal is an important part of the Order of the Arrow membership process and the next step on your journey. The purpose of the Order of the Arrow and the symbols of the ordeal will be explained to you at the ordeal. You must arrive at the ordeal prior to 7:00 p.m. that Friday evening, but please do not arrive before 5:30 p.m..  Be sure to bring a copy of your BSA Health and Medical Record (physical) parts A and B. The ordeal will conclude no later than 10:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. You need to stay through the entire event to complete your ordeal so please plan accordingly.

The cost for the weekend covers the cost of your sash, a current Allohak Menewi Lodge flap, an OA handbook, weekend food, and your membership dues for the remainder of this year. Following your induction you will have the opportunity to purchase other lodge merchandize like t-shirts, hoodies, and patches.

Here is some important information for you and a list of what you will need to bring with you for the weekend:
